Check out Jenna Dewan-Tatum in her new movie ‘She Made Them Do It‘ when it premieres on Lifetime  on Saturday December 29th! Co-starring Mackenzie Phillips, the film is based on the true story of convicted felon who escaped from maximum security prison and became one of the most notorious women to ever top the list of America’s Most Wanted.

Jenna talks about her new movie, ‘10 Years‘ (which is out on DVD and Blu-ray today), falling in love with the sexiest man alive, and expanding their family in yesterday’s interview with Access Hollywood Live

In the film, Jenna plays convicted murderer Sarah Pender. After being abandoned by her mother at the age of three, Sarah grows up to enroll in college where she begins dealing drugs with her boyfriend as a means to pay for school. When Sarah’s two roommates are tragically shot to death in what appears to be a deal gone bad, she is found guilty of masterminding the double murder and sentenced to 110 years in prison.

A model inmate studying law in hopes of appealing her case while also helping fellow convicts with their cases, Sarah becomes increasingly desperate as her appeals continue to be denied. At the end of her wits, she uses her charm to seduce a prison guard and convince former cellmate, played by Phillips, to help her escape, leading authorities on an intense search that attracts national attention and puts her on the top of the most wanted list.

In addition to talking about her new role as Sarah Pender, Jenna shares what pivotal moment in her life compelled her to become an actress with DFW.com

I actually pretty much fell into acting. I was always so determined to make it as a professional dancer that acting was never on my radar. But after a manager discovered me and sent me on my first audition, I began to book some great jobs and slowly dance began to take a backseat. I had already accomplished so many of my dance dreams, that I was feeling like “What’s next?” and along came acting. I’m so grateful, though, because I truly love acting. It challenges me every day and I feel as if I’m still learning and striving to become better. I still feel the same nervous insecurity on the first day of every job. “Am I going to do this character well? Will I be fired?” But that nervous energy fades away, and I’m just so stimulated and excited to be on set and working. It’s really been such an amazing journey that I never guessed would look like this.
