As a lifelong, passionate animal activist, Jenna Dewan-Tatum is lending her support in an effort to bring charges against Global Captive Breeders, LLC. PETA recently discovered the company is responsible for the horrific abuse and neglect of thousands of animals. Now efforts are under way to ensure appropriate criminal charges are filed. Jenna says…

“As an expectant mother, I was particularly heartbroken to see photos of ailing mother rats with open wounds on their bodies who stood guard protectively over their dead or dying babies in the filthy plastic tubs that they were confined to without access to adequate food, water, or even moderately fresh air to breathe… Justice must be served for the unspeakable suffering endured by countless animals at GCB.”

Jenna, The first thing I thought of when I first saw you, was how pretty you are and that you and your husband seem like an amazing couple. Then I started reading about some of your efforts, that your vegan, and stands that you take to help the suffering animals in this world who can not speak for themselves. Now I have to say that you are TRUELY BEAUTIFUL ON THE INSIDE AND OUT!! Way to go! I always said if I ever made it out in the Hollywood world, that I would be a HUGE advocate and help animals in need! I will def be a fan from here on out! Thanks.

I think it’s wonderful that you are doing so much to help animals. However, I am deeply disturbed by the photos I’ve seen of you and your husband, with your dog Meeka in a Service Dog vest. Since neither of you claim to be disabled, what would be your purpose in putting a SD vest on your pooch? Just so you can take your dog everywhere you go?
There are real issues with people who are doing this and it’s causing tremendous problems for those with legitimate Service Dogs.
I do hope you and Channing will do the right thing by removing the vest from your “seeing eye dog” and help us put a stop to these companies who are illegally registering anyone’s dog.
Until then, I will continue to make everyone in the SD Community, Dog Community, PETA, etc, of what you are doing.
